I think I first heard about it in the movie The Exorcism of Emily Rose. It's about this Catholic priest who goes on trial because this woman died who he was performing an exorcism on. His lawyer starts having weird stuff happen at 3:33 AM. Apparently it's a mockery of the trinity. It's also reflexive to the hour that Christ is said to have died on the cross, which was around 3ish in the afternoon. The hour of 3 AM is said to be a demonic hour because of that.

There are others that also refer to 333 as an angel number.
Perhaps it was a sign:   "When you see 333 pause. Step back into perspective and open your heart. "
Meaning that you shouldn't have been doing the test at that time (for whatever reason), and that you would do better when you retook the test.


Or it could be that the internet failure had nothing to do with the time - perhaps there was a solar flare at the time? Those can affect electrical systems and communications depending on how strong the flare is.
