My mother called me on Monday to tell me my brother collapsed at work on Sunday evening, wasnt breathing. He survived thanks to Narcan given in the ambulance. He claims his coworker must've put something in his soda. Long story short, he's been using and lying about it. He wants to get sympathy and is playing the victim. No police report was made and his boss is reviewing the security cameras. He goes to great lengths with his stories to make him the victim and always has. Him not his girlfriend have contacted me. I feel sadness for their almost 7 year old son.
They also know what I dealt with over the years with my son. My son so far is still sober and is trying to get his music making equipment back to do that so he stays busy outside of work & parenting.
I bought my brother's son a Halloween costume and my grandson to take them trick or treating (bro and his gf were skeptical to take him out this year, I see why now)
My grandson is obsessed with Halloween. He loves pumpkins (even likes the Smashing Pumpkins) and the Monster Mash video with the groovie ghoulies, everything is called Halloween for him 🎃, cuteness of 2 year olds. He's going to be a glow in the dark alligator, but he calls it a dinosaur and hates the headpiece, but is slowly coming around to it after showing him that it looks like dorothy the dinosaur 😄
He's such a joy to be around ❤

Probably working on my day off again
Got a new store director and it's basically fix the mess the previous store direction causes all during the q4 prep has been a nightmare.

fun day. my cell phone was stolen, had to file a police report, and have been on hold for over 50 minutes with my cell carrier to get my phone line suspended because you cant do this shit online or get a call back because the damn voice service isnt working properly for that. lost 1/2 day of work pay too. life goes on. this is just a damn headache until they are able to answer the call.

Just about to wrap up this semester for getting my certificate in instructional design. I should qualify for it by the end of this semester but there are a few other classes I might like to take that are electives in the program, I dunno if they'll let me just get my certificate and then take them independently, or if I'd have to delay getting the certificate to take them. Maybe? I hope so. Hoping to use this to add to my freelance skills and maybe get some nice remote work.

Good luck sorting that out.
I wish my team lead would quit or change departments. She sucks at this particular department, she's got a great personality. She'd actually do better in a different department. Part of me wants to take her spot, but don't want to deal with the chaos at my age because it's a crap shoot and leaders there are not quality people and don't have good people skills.

My life is pretty quiet these days. Cant say I do much. Havent been sleeping as much lately but dont want to be awake either. Im getting accustomed to this condition I find myself in. Realized yesterday that I offend God, and that is why I was cursed. Cant really do much about it, nowhere to run when you got God on your head. Cant hide or lie your way around it. I said to God that I would kill myself if He wanted me to, just so He didnt have to watch me anymore. I also said He could kill me if it suited Him. Nothing came of these words though. I just have to keep myself lowly and remember. I am not hearing voices now, and I dont have thinking ability. I cant be creative or curious, but Im used to it now. Its mostly just silence.

I just finished doing that. Took about 30 minutes. Never did that before, I'm proud I learned how to. Super easy!! I was lacking the look of the plumber ass crack showing 🤣

Was approached about a new position from my boss. I know I can handle it (things are changing for the better at work with the new director.
I've been thinking about it, trying to keep a clear mind about it.
Would prefer to keep the shift I have and the weekly schedule I have for the most part. I do not give a shit about having the weekend off anymore at this point in my life.
Anyways, I've observed a lot over the past 3 years, and see where improvements need to be made that can benefit employees and the business.

Man,that was a crazy semester. Total overload. But now I'm done!
The whole thing has really given me a fresh perspective on my time and where I place my focus.

Focusing on the holidays now. Lots of Christmas shopping. Making some plans for next year...travel, work, etc...
I realized there are a lot of challenges and negatives in basically all areas of my life. But I've also survived and am making progress forward all the same. And that's something to celebrate. And I should focus on the positive to bring more of it in.
