The Occult, and especially Thelema, does not tell you "dont do", and so, that leaves the door open to all activity. It is wise to say "you are free, and you choose" but is it Wisdom? Only to that length. True Wisdom tells you what not to do, and how to do things right. The Book of the Law says to fight and stamp out the weak, and is that right in your eyes? Does anyone consider that there is always someone stronger? Do you realize that you are marching to your death in the name of your convictions, which may or may not be reasonable for all of us, or even yourself? This is a cult of death and glory. Will and want, and victory, and its not meant to teach you to consider anyone else. Do you trust the God in charge of this thinking to give you eternal life, or safe haven? They dont promise it. Youre only as strong as you have strength, and strength and youth and vigor and wealth are finite.
I believe that the reason people wander from Christianity, which probably 8//10s of us have been exposed to is because its too safe, and its too reasonable, and its boring. Why do I want to submit to the hard facts of a hard world?

The Gods of Magick, and potentially all of the Gods follow the Law of liberty to define beauty and Love how they choose. The actual Creator is a mystery. Unless all of these Gods fall in line with one Truth, there will be Chaos, and until I am God of my own Universe, I have to present my strength and understanding of my version of Love and Truth to you, and you have to choose to agree or dispute. In the end, we all wind up thinking we know, or are correct, but truly, we all will submit to whomever is in power over us, unless of course, we are given a Universe. The puzzle is to find what the Creator has in mind, and if it is this, then the only Truth is my Will, my observation of what is Good, your ability to submit or resist, the law of strength and the fact that this is all contest.

These are Gods of Chaos. They dont care if you cause it or bring Order. What they expect is that you will live how you like and get what you desire. They also expect you to conquer the World because who doesnt want to be King? They are not Gods of fairness, and deception is allowed if no one catches on, or if it produces a Good that pacifies the person that objects. Most sensible people will call them Evil, because they lack concern for anyone but themselves. Man might have a use for people that are strong Willed and visionary, but Man as a whole will need to reject this type of thinking because this type of thinking creates totalitarian leadership, and so their own liberty to be free is poisoned by their own methods of domination. This creates Chaos and contest, and strife and injustice, and unfair actions. It promotes murder and theft and anger and retaliation and hate. The way Crowley justifies this is by saying that the ones that gave us Love failed to be that Love, and so it is their just reward for me to rebel and declare new Truth, but this is putting yourself at the mercy of fate- and it in itself is not self actualization or command over your self, and it is not necessarily going to promote a more True Love. It can be perverted. Love will suffer under this type of justification just as much as Love might blossom. We are not at the mercy of our bad reactions to someone elses bad representation of Love. And choosing to become a hateful, or vengeful creature is becoming the problem and not solving it.

This world is an opportunity to know what Good is, and to betray it, and every time you promote Evil, even for the sake of beauty, you become responsible for the Evil you create, and no matter what you bring, you will be held accountable for that action. You will not escape this land of suffering, death and rebirth, choice and consequence until you realize the Truth about Good, which is Love.

Bottom line: retaliating with anger is not Love

Man is born and cared for, everything is gentle and free, until per-adolescence when we are taught that we have to earn. We have to earn, because it is irresponsible to force someone else to care for our survival. It is also part of our reliance upon one another in a society, to provide a service or support for one another. This is Wisdom for a Good community. On top of this need to earn for my survival, comes the need to satisfy my appetites. This is an extra effort that shouldn't really be considered, but as this is part of our reward for our contribution, it has to be acknowledged. In a Wise and communal society, we should be educating one another in how to interact with this form of ideal, and when you stray from this, you create actions of injustice. We are not necessarily in a Wise and communal society, and so we have accidents of choice; the wrongdoing in the name of these pursuits, that cause us strife and complications and promote hate. This deteriorates into a "I need to get mine at any cost" kind of mentality. This kind of thinking promotes more law breaking, and more suffering, because criminals lose their rights to earn in a communal, law abiding society that is gentle and honest. The righteous folk that do no wrong are then forced to care for the flawed minds that wandered from this ideal Truth. Therefor the Wise need to be gentle and Wise, and they need to affirm the demands of life and society, lest we fall away from the sense of it, which protects us from ourselves. We need to do this with kindness, because violence and anger creates rebellion, because we are trained to know that the Good is to be gentle. The Good is also not to become a burden upon someone else's efforts to survive, and contribute. This is the ideal, but it is not the reality for ones appetites. We have the right to want more, and the right to wander into a dangerous unknown to pursue new invention and discovery. We need this daring for progress. The Wise will be called upon to be Wise and patient and tolerant while the children wander to discover and invent for us. We have to believe that they desire to contribute, but we also need to make certain that they are not risking our own wealth to do so. The Truth is that this will be betrayed in our kind of society. The balance must be struck with the Wise and the daring, with the Good faith in our own virtue and reason, with patience and observance of what is produced while doing our best to lead them in a disciplined and profitable method.

The crucial point of error that I cannot stress enough is that we believe in our own righteousness. We think we are Good. We have to believe this in order to take action, and we need to believe that we know what to do, but the honest Truth is that we do not know. This is our plight. Prudence would say not to act rash. Not to retaliate because it creates an enemy, whether you are right or not. Strive for gentle Wisdom, and restrain those that offend until you can resolve the proper actions. This is the only logical conclusion in the light of the salvation provided by Love.

The source of the actions that cause disaster is when we fail to give and get Love.

Truth. Start with your hands, fingers, knees and toes, knees and toes! Senses, what is the common understanding of them? When what feels bad becomes what feels Good, its still True that it feels Good, or did something occur that caused it to feel Good, like a mental change. Was that brought on by something that was in line with the previous Good, or was it some kind of pain or choice that forced you to compromise? Would you have compromised if it hadnt happened? Do you think you should have compromised? Truth is subjective, but we all begin with a Truth that seemed True at first, and can imagine a perfect form of things., That is your Truth. When you find it, you ask "Do I think all people can agree on this being Good?" Then you have the vision of common Truth, regardless of where you ended up due to environment and bad choices and bad representations of what is Good.

As much as we would wish it otherwise, the fate of Man is to submit.

My philosophy is: imperfect environment, imperfect world. We choose what we think is right, and many sacrifice the True Good, which probably was only meant to exist for a short while. You can quest for it, or accept what is; in the end the best mind will appreciate the odd creations and find comfort in common company.

The use of Kabbalah is to find the True Good, so that all Man may live in harmony. Crowley has utterly failed at harmony, he caused as much Chaos as Order, and the Order being nothing Good for all, only Good for the individual. The real measure of Wisdom is if it works for the health and wealth of ALL OF GODS PEOPLE! Therefore, the only real measure of Pure Good Action is to help someone do something that will helps someone else! You do this with kindness, grace, patience, tolerance, charity, and gentle Wisdom. Every act of retribution is an act that will cause retribution or hate, which will start a chain reaction of unfair actions that you are responsible for, because you failed to gently teach.

God is a lover of Truth, and the only Good Truth is generous, kind Love. If you want to prove to God that you know Truth, and that you are Good, and that you know Love, then choose duty; duty is Love in action

Sadly, for me, if I were to stop all of this pontificating and criticism, if I were honest about the unwritten Law that I was never actually told, I would say that the Law is to stop fighting Gods Will to be helpful and concerned about my fellow Man, to be clean and care about my health, my wealth, and my relationships. To walk an honest life that does not deceive or pervert Truth, the Truth being kindness- a considerate way of treating one another.
