There's people who "try" to do/say things to make something seem like magic, but that's not the case as I have become more aware of the......bullshit experienced.

Crowley's teachings lead to a dead end, mskied. He failed at Saturn (in regards of the seven are one principle). 

If he had mastered the task, he would not have formed a cult around himself. He was a highly narcissistic person. As most gurus are. 

Try Krishnamurti - if anything at all.

I suppose experience is a different kind of knowledge, as opposed to book knowledge.

Crowley - one heck of a character. But I agree that he did not master the very things he taught. Also, astute observation about most gurus being narcissistic. I agree.

Crowley failed in a lot of ways, the most glaring, in my eyes, is the very fundamental principal of his Do What Thou Wilt. He says it doesnt mean "Do what you like", referring to a "True Will", but if there were a True Will, then it would be the only Will, and all people should follow it- and the Will he leaves us with doesnt fit in with a true will of love, as he says "Love is the Law". Do what thou wilt isnt True Will, its do what you like. It seems he couldnt reconcile his liberty with logic.

I believe whole-heartedly that William did not know the true power of the seven-pointed star back in the days. If you stay with Crowley, you stay a rat in the cage, golden though, but still a cage. 

The seven-pointed star is a call, mskied, and a calling. It called me, too, and I started my journey long before Machina. 

So my question to you is: what is your journey about? What is its purpose? The essence if you wish. What is it you are after?

Your purpose gives it its direction. Once that is clear, I may support you a little, which does not mean I am teacher, guide or that I can help you.

I prefer the kind without the k.
The k seems to be with curses, evil, darkness and nothing really good or positive.

I get what you're saying. Maybe you know already, about how the "k" is just how Crowley chose to differentiate with parlor tricks...wasn't really necessary for him to do, imo, but I think he was trying to create a movement...

Imo, it's all "Magic."

Anything associated with Crowley will certainly carry a dark side to it, so yeah.

My journey was about love, but now its become about right action; avoiding the mistakes that soil loving actions.  Its about ignorance too, for love is the fundamental source of thought, and when it is absent or misused, there is an absence of love, and fault arises.  I want people to do things in a loving way so that there is no more hurt.

Truthfully, I am finished with Magick, and philosophy, and mysticism, and championing a cause. I have to be, due to my illness. I will never discount there is truth to these things, but my mind is so broken that it cant work on those levels any more.
