The time has come to take ownership of what I am. I have had to study various myths and stories about what this is, and some people have tried to put it into something sensible- which has taken me years to accept, something I do with trepidation. I know that the Truth is unknown, and that throughout history, Man has tried to define it, with some success, but only partially. While I cannot claim a lot of what I have read about what has happened to me, I have studied it enough to see that there is a long history regarding it, though I do not know who is a student of the mysteries and who is an actual initiate. One thing is certain: I took the rite of the Jew, a spirit gave me a symbol of mystical importance, I then asked God for help and God spoke. I then began to pursue intelligence from scratch to discover Truth, and my pursuit of ignorance led me to a Demon that has afflicted me for two decades. There are a lot of thoughts on this, some see it as Good, others as a curse- and my Trust in God and the faith people put in God has been sorely tested. It has led to my ruin, but it has proven to be something to learn from. I dont know if you can make a science out of this, but some try. I dont know if I will ever rise above water and accomplish my task- and I dont know if God will ever let Man rise to the level of understanding where we stand in front of Him. I actually believe that the pursuit of intelligence is a never ending downward spiral that is never satisfactory- until we decide to get off that path and participate in calm reason that is guided by love and concern. Still, this type of thing has proven the source of science and art, and government and imagination- and so I continue, at great cost. One day... I hope to have a working picture, one that may not be any more True than the others, but might bring us closer to what I believe we all want.

While I will not fully denounce the faith, I will explain why the Gods have turned their back on Christianity.
1. Because Chaos is an Eternal Necessity for the evolution of life. 2. Because Jesus is regarded as the True God, and that is a lie. 3. Because were we to obey the words of the Christ, we would not take the actions necessary to instruct or adjust the behavior that must be addressed. 4. Because Man is allowed to do what they will in the pursuit of how they want to live their life, and Christianity refuses certain options that are allowed. 5. Because the Christ demands a level of concern that is supernatural and would cripple our growth were we to all honor it to the level that is suggested (even the faithful know this). 6. Because we are animals first and foremost, and the Law of Nature is not one to deny. 7. Because Man has the right to harm in the name of defending the Good- even though it is all ignorance on some level. 8. Because the strong will always rule, and to follow the Christ would be to bend your knee to someone that may not be deserving of your submission.

The title of Neophyte is granted to the True candidate that declares "I do not know, but am willing to discover". This is a permanent title that one never leaves, until the end of time which may never come, for Eternity is potentially infinite, and when it ends, it will be done, and there will be nothing.
The Neophyte goes out to discover, and every Truth they encounter is explored with passion until they develop the understanding of some ideal, from which they form their perception of reality and begin to engage with life based from that perspective. They develop a hierarchy of knowledge that is more or less sufficient, and carry on with their lives and craft.
As the Philosophus Adept goes about their business. They reach a wall of understanding that they cannot pass. They declare to their God, or Master, or Heirophant, or whatever form of supernatural guide they have chosen, their Truth, and request more power to pursue it. This is when they reach the portal grade of Adept Exempt. Exempt from...? We cannot be certain, because this is the beginning of an extremely arduous task that made the previous workings look like kindergarten.
The Adept Exempt has a veil removed and meets the Master. The Master reveals a tool that the Adept will examine as they descend into the Abyss to be devoured by the Demon of Hell. This Demon takes the soul of the Adept and dissects it, forming new souls based on the pieces of knowledge that the Adept had gathered in their initial search for Truth. Indeed, this grade is gravely assaulted, and haunted, and is more determined and wide depending on Adept and their commitment to their vision, and depending upon this, the more souls will come to their temple. This is the act of sacrificial death, a death to pursue their goal, which is enlightenment, and power, but the aim has to be True and needed in the Universe, and the Adept has to be committed wholly for it to be acceptable. The next task of the Adept is to sort through the multitude of voices and ideas that assault them to find Truth to grant them the power to fulfill their vision quest. The risk of failure is great in this grade, and the Adept must persist in the face of total annihilation and Hell until there is nothing left in their strength and they submit, but even in the submitting there is no telling when they are finished, for the search for Truth is eternal, and this grade, as with the Neophyte, does not end.
However, as the Adept persists in their journey, they will periodically rise to witness many great secrets of the Universe, and of existence. This is the Magister Templi grade that, at some points, must confess that they are potentially the only sentient being among all creation, and that the entire scope of reality is meant only for their learning. The risk here is also great, for it can lead to delusion, and disbelief, great confusion, and a daring that threatens the security and growth of the Adept. Still there is a further grade to consider.
That grade is the grade of the Magus, and it is the position of having some authority, though never certainly complete, where the Adept is capable of declaring Law based on the observation and combination of a portion of the souls that he was granted to interact with that was organized to assemble a perspective that is valid to some degree of the Truth was initially declared in the Neophyte Grade. This process is constantly refined, for the root of Truth is never found with certainty until it is established by the Master to be known, in which case, the Adept either ascends, or continues on as a Magus and contributes their knowledge to the world in the form of some art, depending upon the Will of the Master and the Adept.

Magick isnt just about mysticism and discovering what is real. It is about choices; making the right ones that will benefit you- and in another role, what will benefit us. It isnt just about calling on spirits to get what we desire, it is about defining a spirit that will get all of us our desires- fairly.

The only real moral question is whether we should be expected to trade. All other moral questions about exposing the body, or indulging, or risking life and limb for new truth are irrelevant, because all of those things can and should be allowed for the pursuit of new Good. All moral truth, the one that matters, is how and why we should trade, and whether we should offer our services for free.

The study of Magick involves the study of words and what they mean to you, as well as the study of the Gods that were designed from those words and the result of the actions they took.

The mythological stories start with Chaos and the children of the Gods are as follows: Greece was a lustful Son, the mother being prudent. Adam was the curious Son, willing to test Law. Osiris was the loving husband that wanted to govern with strong Order, as well as defeat his submissive qualities. Christ was the merciful Son, that saw the order and its result, and that it lends it hands to failure.

I am the orderly Son, that wants us all to know love, and to be loving, and my mercy is to reveal the process so that we know how to be and know these things.
