Hi. In this speech you declared that "there are no rules" and how offended you were when people held you accountable to breaking them. Youre wrong, there are rules, and it is because you broke them, along with the other artists that you mention you adore, that people got on your case. There are rules because there needs to be rules, and these rules help up. One thing about your career that I otherwise admire, is the fact that at the height of AIDS, with your friends dying all around you, you promoted a sexuality that went beyond anyone, and basically spoke of liberty in promiscuity and sexual adventuring. I hope you consider that you did no service to preventing the spread of this disease, and others. Not to mention, as a child that went up for adoption due to premarital sex, put into a home that I did not belong to and had to fight to comprehend something that natural children know, you promoted a lifestyle that caused me great harm- and let us not forget about the millions of unborn children that were aborted because of your liberty for sexuality. This comes at a great price, this freedom. Not to mention, it was against the rules.
