A good friend of mine gave me a jar filled with dirt.
It's a Feng Shui way to grow your money.
Also can be called witchcraft by ignorant people.
Anyways, it can't be just any old dirt. You want it to be dirt from someone who has managed to build wealth and abundance in their life. She gave me the story of the where the dirt came from.
Gotta add money, 4 elements and things that mean something for positive growth. She gave me plenty of information on how to do the jar.
Once completed, you place it in a spot where it won't be disturbed.
I will be doing more research for this task.
Also, she is housing caterpillars to become butterflies and put the jar of dirt in with them to get some life energy added to the dirt.
She is really a keeper of a friend and so damn grateful to have crossed paths with her. Again, the universe worked to add a new lifelong friend.

that sounds pretty cool, let me know how that turns out.
I have heard of a similar sort of ritual - you get a jar and put dirt in it from a jail/police station, a hospital, a bakery and bank....the idea is it gives you "ownership" so that you will avoid, or at least impair, trouble with the law, have good health, never go so hungry you won't have food, and never run out of money. Then you're supposed to "feed" it every so often by opening it up and spitting out rum or whiskey in a mist over it. Hoodoo related, I believe.

no no, you don't keep putting dirt in it, just fill it up and "water" it from time to time with the rum mist. lol
the rum mist, i think, is really supposed to be kind of an offering or show of appreciation. you're offering up the essence of the rum to the spirits or whatever.
