Just because Billy is using Tommy Lee on the album, does not mean he is back on drugs...also does not necessarily mean he is joining the band...musicians collaborate all the time... Who knows...perhaps Billy figured Tommy Lee will give the next album a certain edge...after all...didn't he say it would be a dark album??? well Tommy Lee is about the grittiest drummer out there, perhaps it is the fit he needed to express that darker edge... now don't tell me you weren't banging that head around  |

probably because its a drummer from a whole different decade and genre and also because it came out of no place. I think its great and hope it works well.

He will do well..he'll be fine ♥ Funny Billy makes a comment about the fans in an interview and even says that some may be offended by his comment, and I think I was the only one offended...lol...no one else seemed to mind he just dissed them...yet he makes a personal decision that affects NO ONE but himself and his music and it offends just about everyone, and everyone's ready to throw in the towel  what's wrong with this picture??? |

I'm still undecided. On one hand tommy lee is a more talented drummer than mike and will probably be a better fit if Billy is trying to make a harder album. On the other hand he's a cheesy douche

On the other hand he's a cheesy douche My thoughts exactly. im just glad Billy decided that Mikes playing wouldnt suit a harder sounding album and got a decent powerful drummer in instead of letting Mike flail around weakly with his cardboard drums. im really excited by it all now |

I really feel fine about it. Excited, really. My first reaction was to laugh and then to think he'll probably fit the sound of the album. I'm actually really looking forward to hearing the album now....before I was kind lukewarm about it. But this was a bold move by Billy, which is what I want from him. It's such a crazy combination, too. And that also makes me laugh, especially with how miffed some people in the SP community are. They seem to think SP music is about a cultural or fashion genre, but it's not. It's just about making great music. SP has always defied expectations of caste or genre, which is what I love about it. I hope Billy collaborates with Axl Rose next, haha.
