We have no Duty to God, but we do have Duty to ourselves and one another.

Life is fire and desire, duty and law. Motion, form, matter, fuel and measurement. It is the success and fail, and the ensuing joy or sorrow, love and hate.

In life we have a number of motives for action. It can be grouped into self-others. When we do things we do things for security, experience, and creativity. We do things for ideas like justice, righteousness, and mercy. We also do things for the sake of having power. Both sides do the things they do for love- love of what I do for myself, or love of another. These are the reasons we act. There is also acting without reason, which is chaotic.
All people have the right to will and want, until their want interferes with yours, in which case we have laws to uphold contracts and protect property. We all have the freedom to do as we like in the pursuit of our labor and productivity. Laws protect our rights and property.

Nothing is free. Things need to be harvested, designed and built. Capitalism is not evil. Your effort should be rewarded with compensation due to its value to society. We have to have a fair price on items and effort. No its not balanced properly, and the constitution says that we have to tax people to pay for things, which isn't happening. People are allowed to funnel tax money into more efforts to acquire wealth, and there are protections for when that fails, so its a win-win for them to avoid taxes and try new industry. That is how Trump has worked the system, and its how a lot of wealthy people do it. As a Nation of conscience, we have programs in place for the weak and the incapable. Taking these away would encourage crime and raise the level of mortality. In todays world one needs skills to earn enough to pay for the cost of living- not living well, but simply having enough to survive. Manual labor does not pay for our survival in this economy, which lends itself to people that are fatalistic, and people that embrace death are more willing to jeopardize our health as a whole. We need to pay the minimum wage earners more, we need to create more efficient methods of training people to be skilled, and we need to continue supporting our social programs, for all our sakes.

We cannot blame our problems on desire, though in our desiring there is indeed pain, but that pain is alleviated when we acquire our wants. We cannot mandate that people shouldn't want, though this idea is popular among the religions. It is a safer road, but we cannot expect that safety produces innovation. And so, the crime is not desire, it is in what we do to gain what we desire and whether our actions are just. Law must stand for protecting the rights, property and health of each individual or else it is a failure. We must encourage our people to work for their needs and their wants, so that new invention comes down the turn.

People and corporations should be paying their taxes, they shouldn't be making as much take home profit as they do, and the wages need to increase for our labor so that we have our needs met.

Huh? I pay my taxes. What people? The ones who pay in yearly because they made too much $ ? Tax evasion gets people fined or in jail eventually.

I went looking for truth. I learned that much of mankinds methods and spirit are subjective, and that there is no prophet that can put it all into one categorical answer. We can map it out, we can logically declare the most sensible things, we can point out what is necessary and true from a survival/communal aspect, but we cannot declare that everyone do it, or is able to do it, or can even understand it. This comes partly from wealth and education disparity, and also because of the challenges of your environment. Desire has a lot to do with it too- as we are free to want what we want, and we dont always get what we want, because people can say no. Free Will is a problem for Utopia.
In this quest for truth I taught myself about math and physics and philosophy. I gleaned the vision of reincarnation and karma, and other religious/spiritual concepts- all of which remains to be proven, but makes sense in an optimistic way. The ultimate truth may simply be that we are creatures that can manage to build greater things from our environment that will protect us, and that our environment is difficult, and that we simply live and die. I think the concept of Heaven came from the concept of God- that there is something greater out there, in a better place, and that maybe one day we can go there. When you realize the scope of the Universe you have to admit that the power to create something so grand and vast might not even bother with saving this little speck of life named Man. Its a nice idea, since we are so much more able than any other animal, that we have a privileged position in the Universe, but, once again, this remains to be proven.
From personal experience I know there is more to the Universe in regards to higher life than we see. I do not know what life is like for them, and I do not know what they want or do to and for us. I think this is the only logical, sane way to observe these things, but of course, people love faith and the hope that is promised by the prophets. Embracing our mortality takes a strong Will.

The Laws of Nature are that the strong get what they desire, and the submissive follow. When two strong creatures meet, one must prevail, or they reach a compromise. These are the Laws of Nature.
Subjectively speaking, our spirituality is chosen by us, and we define its rules. When we betray our own rules, we are out of line in the karmic sphere, and it is only then that we suffer for it. However, though truth in this light is relative to the observer, there are the laws of society to which we have to be observant, for it is enforced and governed by those that can punish us. These laws are transitory, and change from culture to culture, Age to Age. It is wise to observe them, and it is wise to change them as necessary.
If there is reincarnation, I believe that it is based on your subjective rules, and not the cultural ones.

You can walk peacefully and do what is required, accepting what comes, or you can struggle with the challenges of desire.

A greater truth than to convince someone of your idea or method is to allow them to have their own

Intellectual trouble can be an endless journey of hardship and enlightenment, and often when a person is stuggling with their thoughts and emotions, there are not enough words to cure or comfort. One cure is to talk about the beauty of life; freedom, technology, kindness, community, adventure, nature, peace, forgiveness, food, art.

God is nothing but generosity, it is we who bicker and fight over things. We punish ourselves with our wants.
