I can think of a lot of things, really. I hate how when you go to the mall, all the food options at the food court are fast-foody type stuff or mediocre to crappy Chinese food, nothing really wholesome or nutritional....when I was in Russia, they had some really great stuff there, really wholesome. I hate how divided we are as a country. I hate how we are allowing ourselves to be balkanized. Diversity is great and all, but it only strengthens you as a country if it is a secondary ideal to being American, and right now, people are putting other things, besides being American, first. I hate how we have such crappy public transportation in most of our cities. I hate how ugly and spread out we are in so much of our development. So much done without taste or planning. I love the concepts of freedom and liberty set forth by our Founding Fathers. I love how there's so much rich culture and heritage to enjoy in the big melting pot we are. I love our big skyscrapers. I love the beauty of our land and its variety of climate and landscape. I love the wealth and purchasing power of the dollar when I exchange it overseas for, say, rubles.... even though it's behind the Pound and possibly even the Euro right now....still, not too shabby. I love our history. Our story. I love our military. We got some badass stuff. I love American or "Yankee" ingenuity and how it has contributed to so much inventiveness and advancements in technology in the world. And uh...I love hot dogs, burgers, fries, and real good barbecue all the same  |

^^I hate going to the Mall period!! The stores are all the same, no uniqueness or specialty stores these days..

Specialty and unique stores are having a hell of a time staying in business with lockdown life. The people and businesses can't afford another lockdown.
Not a mall fan. Used to like it back in the 80's though before everyone had to be so dramatic in public with their phones also being loud and obnoxious for attention. Everyone trying to be seen and heard and not willing to listen or even read beyond a headline or tuned in to shitshow news channels is pretty damn disturbing.

Got my fingers crossed for some sort of miracle but other than that, I'm in mourning. People will perceive me saying that as mourning because Trump lost - but it's not specifically that. I would accept it and roll with the blows if I felt Biden legitimately won the election, even if hard to swallow. What truly has me devastated is the way in which power is being transferred. That there is all of this evidence for fraud that has been totally blown off. That the corruption is so deep. That a person can't truly affect real change in this country without ultimately being torn down by the entrenched powers that be. Because if that's how it's going to be, we have no real freedom. The United States of America, as we knew and loved it, is dead. |

After seeing this, I am viewing this "presidency" as them letting joe biden think he won the presidency due to his 40 years of chasing that role and now has what seems to be alzheimers. Government decided to play along to allow Joe to have a very special moment for his memory bank.

I'm seeing those dogs on the lawn and I'm wondering, who cleans up their mess on the WH lawn? They look pretty lonely and solitary there. Honestly, just really silly looking...Joe just standing there with his coffee while the First Lady talks for him..... This whole situation is honestly very bizarre. |

John Stewart was great - even though I really disagree with him politically. In general, I enjoy watching foreign news, just for the outsider perspective. Most also lean left, though. I understand peoples' issues with Fox News. But you can't objectively have issues with Fox News and not have issues with every other cable news network, in my opinion. CNN is a joke. MSNBC is to the left as Newsmax is to the right. All the alphabet networks (ABC, NBC, CBS) lean heavily left. NPR. If a station leans left or right because of unconscious bias, that's one thing....but what is corrupt is when people call themselves "journalists" and actively try to create narratives that favor one side or the other, while ignoring other events, or manipulating events to look a certain way. That's not journalism, it's a party propaganda mill. |
