This is more a Billy Dorgan solo album. It's good for a pop album. It's not a rocking Smashing Pumpkins album. I mean, you have these amazing artists in the band and you don't utilize their talent for an amazing guitar and drumming song experience. Don't get it. I know Billy is saying he's going to make a rock double album, but we've heard this many times and we're not getting any younger.

I will say, I'm not sure how much of this album was recorded with everyone in the same building. I'm wondering if Covid affected this. I can totally understand the Billy solo album viewpoint. You don't hear a lot of guitar or a lot of bombastic drumming. Mostly Billy singing and a lot of synths and keys, occasionally some guitar. BUT - the band seems totally supportive of it, so what can I say. If they're for it, I'll go with it too. I bet it will be fun to hear these live, WITH the band
