Jury selection starts tomorrow.
The actual trial starts later this month.
The other 3 cops will likely not be charged, Chauvin may get 12 years.
Either way the verdict goes, people will riot. Celebrate by rioting or didnt get the verdict they wanted & rioting.
Over 2k national guard will be in the city on top of 1k police maybe more.
Hoping shitty city officials learned from last year to protect the businesses so people dont lose what has been rebuilt.
We have private security from open to close in the parking lot. Not the typical generic mall cop versions. Adding more security in the building too.
Also have plans set for safety of employees if anything arises.
The burnt precinct is across the street from my job, not sure if they will return to this area for another round of riots, or if they have their eyes on another area that investors are eyeballing, Opportunity Zones.
Also rumor heard that looters will head to the Mall of America if they cant loot here in the city.
The stimulus check offers instigators to come in to the city to fuck shit up.
I'm not saying out of state folks, but maybe some nearby.
Crime punishment is a slap on the wrist here. No lessons being learned

After what we experienced last summer.
Yeah fuck that, I dont mind military protecting against this chaos, especiallysince the police are told to stand down and basically let shit fall thanks to craptastic city council and our lame ass mayor. Too bad they won't stand and riot in front of his home. Conveniently it's a voting year too.
If all hell breaks loose, Democrat leaders may see their asses out of office.

I've been watching the jury selection.
I hope the nation doesn't forget that Kamala was a prosecutor and if shit hits the fan, these people rioting etc. May get locked up for a hot minute. It's possible the president can declare that an act of war and charge them all with war crimes.

Yeah it's wild.
With the thousands of National Guard, police, security etc. I would hope the city and state have a strategy of handling this so they cant repeat what happened last year. 🤞🙏
