I think it's tougher for the newer employees. That makes it rough for the rest of us.
So, I worked in visual merchandise one day helping set some lego clothing and accessories set. That was a few weeks ago.
Our visual merchandiser quit right after black friday. They've been asking me to do VM stuff (which I take care of already daily in the Home flat & H&H areas. Also on occasion the Domestics area.
There is no job posting for that position.
I wouldn't need as much training as a newbie, but still some in the soft lines area. Idk. I'm kinda intrigued to apply, but... there's no job posting for it.
Also wish they'd just move me to that spot instead of doing silly waste of time applying. They could just look at my old app/resume and see I had ad design classes, worked management for years in retail and I already know the Target way of chaos 🤣

I'm making Barriria Tacos tomorrow.
Slow cooking roast beef tonight and making the barriria.
I've never made it, the barriria smells good.
I'm exhausted. My body has been having awful inflammation this week. I'm noticing the pattern and I need more estrogen. Peaches, flaxseed, walnuts, berries & soy are helpful for such. Tumeric as well. Yep so I'll be adding that because the pain was so awful yesterday. It's bizarre. It's all perimenopause crap.

I was totally doing the 12 Days of Christmas thing and wishing my family a "Happy Xth Day of Christmas!" each and every day, haha. Then yesterday was Three Kings Day, too. And then January 13th we have Old Russian New Year and we're probably going to have a party for that as well (we already had a New Year's one, with the Russians). So our tree will likely be remaining up for a little while longer  |

Waiting for a xmas tree storage bag to come so I can put it away. 👍 I took my tree down on Little Christmas...in other words the Twelfth Night...In the past, I tried taking down before the New Year as to not carry any bad luck from the past into the New Year..well that didn't bode well..seems I have a better year when I leave my Christmas up until Little Christmas...Yeah I'm superstitious! |

I took it down later this year than the previous year. No superstition or little Christmas 12th night regarding the tree.
I kinds miss the lights and ambience of the decor this time for some reason.
Lol I bought some silver bells garland yesterday for next Christmas 🎄

welp, Easter is coming.
I like the Russian/Eastern European style of Easter. Over here in the USA, it's all about the Easter bunny and friggin baby chicks. Everywhere. They at least remember Jesus for real in their celebrations and have beautiful artwork incorporated into things.
