Cue the Star Wars music
33 songs and it pribably comes before the Machina reissue. Hopefully it's not some over priced mess.

Honestly I think it would be kind of weird for it to come before the Machina re-issue.
You'd think one would want to hear Machina as it was more or less "meant" to be heard, first, before moving on to Part III. I certainly do. Seems logical.

๐ I have news for you, there is no logic with SP especially now that it seems to be a corporation. Nope, no logic exists in those.

It would seem to me they probably have more logic now than they've ever had, since their amount of artistic and legal freedom seems to have increased considerably since their Virgin days in the 90's.
It's all a business and you can't control everything in the business world. Especially when unpredictable stuff happens like vinyl factories going up in flames, supply chain issues, etc.
I don't doubt SP would like for everything to be as smooth as possible but it's just not always possible.
But what I'd like to see is maybe a Summer Machina re-issue and a Thanksgiving or Christmas Part III.
I do have some hope for that since there was supposed to be some sort of Machina documentary that was supposed to come out in June or something....would seem like this could happen...

Corporations get ideas and they may bring in the money but there's always always always things that can be done better, but they will usually disagree. Mainly because it wasn't their idea & they really just sellout for $$, that's what the bottom line typically is. God forbid a peon has better ideas than the sociopathic CEO. (No I'm not calling Billy a sociopath, I'm generalizing because those types are usually upper management and higher positions) Recording albums by sending files is convenient, but is it really getting the energy into the album? Probably not. Oh well. Modern times of technology calls for saving everyone's time, money, energy. The savings can cost in the end (and I'm not talking money, more like hit or miss with music. It's all weird.
Good luck with Machina II this summer. Not likely. Also not likely A Christmas album. I really just have ZERO faith for either of those 2 this year especially when they are touring and putting out part 3. Make me give a fuck Billy! We lose interest as the bullshit continues. Dot Dot Dot. I do look forward to hearing the shows coming soon.

Are you referring to that Arising tour stuff? I read that Billy said it's not official. So who knows. Always some announcement type news and then you get the run around. Boo fucking yawn. Nobody wants to keep wasting time on the bullshitting around updates. Yeah we've all seen it for how long now? (Machina reissue) Over it.

No idea if official or not. Would be cool if it was but if not, oh wellz. Yeah, I dunno.

I guess I just believe that good things can still happen. I agree about there being better energy when recording all together. Ideally, anyway. But covid..etc.... But I got hopes. I'm along for the ride, in any case. It's all a journey for me.

Faint hope lingers, but really bored with the all talk and no album. Wrestling wasnt stopped for too long due to covid. More germs would be spread through that than making an album, but whatever. The journey isn't as exciting as it once was.

The journey isn't as exciting as it once was. To be fair, the studio audiences for his wrestling thing are relatively small when compared to the big audiences for concerts. I know concerts and tours generate a lot of excitement and momentum. I've missed them too. Albums are exciting, and we got Cyr in the midst of covid, right on the heels of Cotillions (which I think is a prolific work....Cyr too, actually) but they just don't generate the same energy, which is understandable. But I'm excited for what's to come, even though I'll most likely be missing Birmingham next month.

Wrestling was in reference to making an album with band plus a couple of folks to pushing button to record during the covidflu manipulation, not a big concert of people.
