Well, it got overturned. All those judges, when being examined, said that it was settled law, but once they got the majority to overturn, they did it.
I think abortion is terrible. I think it is killing an innocent life. I feel badly for the women that have to kill a child because they dont want it, but I feel badly too for women that have to carry a baby they dont want, especially if they were raped. This is a no win situation, but Im glad it got overturned. Adoption is a valid option for a human life.

it's a state issue now. More than 1/2 the nation will likely make it illegal. Midterm elections may also play into more states making it illegal. Interesting times we are living in.

Hard pill for many to swallow (oh crap is that a really terrible pun?) but I think it's hands down not a constitutional right and that they did the correct thing by giving it back to the states. Just on the basis of law and order. You can't just imagine rights are in the constitution that aren't, this is how we get things really messed up and where we are today, on many things.
The whole country needs a civics course.
I understand why people are upset, but this is what it means to have a democratic republic. If you mad, go vote. If you don't like what your legislature is doing on any issue, pro-abortion or pro-life, and any detail of either of those positions, make your voice heard. Now is the time.

Abortion was not meant to be a form of birth control. (For those who keep on abusing the abortion option, it does happen) It should not be a government decision either. The option should exist, and used with caution, not as birth control. God judges, not up to us to judge someone else's decisions on such. People in politics gotta chill out on this control freak shit. Religion and politics should be separate.

Its not really a matter of religion, its a matter of is it a life in the womb and does it have rights to life? Religion is just one side of those that defend this idea. Unfortunately there is no way to police abortion if it is legal, people will be able to use it as birth control.
