Hi again all

Ive done a bit more thinking and came up with some more stuff. First I want to say that its been a wonderful experience, frightening and at times very enlightening, and often confusing but- I carry onwards. Growing and thinking at this stage is hard for me and I got very upset last night, took a seroquil and passed out.

As I mentioned previously I am communing with some folks and they are alternatively testing me and teaching me and above all, are very patient with me. I suppose I could declare myself an initiate into the Golden Dawn, and probably a few other orders of things that even I cant comprehend. I do not study tarot and only touch on QBLH- mostly I'm working on my thesis still- which is an ever growing and changing process.

When working on a magical thesis you start from scratch but with all the tools you had learned up to the point of initiation. This is difficult to describe to anyone who hasn't experienced it and to be honest, I couldn't say that I was even that aware I was involved with anything- I saw it more as a conversation with God and didn't recognize there really was anyone to contact- until they contacted me. Anyway all this is besides the point- I say it only so that you are aware of the reality behind it.

It took me about ten years to start this process and I fell hard many times, and still fall now and again. We are all already on this path of understanding and participation by virtue of being here. For whatever reason I was plucked to do some work and this is what I came up with today and, having asked permission to write it out was told that I could so here it is for you to consider:

I mentioned that all is sound as written by Paul Foster Case, revealed by Saint Germain and backed up with the story of creation in the Bible. First was voice which said "Let there be light". So, light came second. Light as we know it comes from the Sun, which is the source of life and awareness and goes back to old sayings like "Shed some light on the subject" and "I don't want to be left in the dark". Light is awareness and in scientific terms, light is life.

So here we have science of life, light, science and matter. You could take a completely secular scientific perspective on this but that is not how evolution began and so I discourage that activity- do not take God out of your equation. God is the infinite and unknown, unseen and invisible force and power from which this light comes. When working with any magical formula God is an essential element. I hope that one day to meet God but that may or may not be something possible for anyone, I cannot say. I could probably get to meet Christ one day though!

In the history of man and the stories of religion we have gods that represent this or that idea. We also have angels and demons and other things as well. These things are real to the extent that they exist in the subconscious race memory. Religion is a number of things:

A history of the interactions of God with man
A method of learning how to become more aware of ones self and surroundings
A form of communion with the higher Divine
A method with which we partake in the creation and find aid for our plight

What we have too is the mind, which is made up of the subconscious and the conscious, both active when awake and asleep. The subconscious is responsible for the waking awareness of being awake and forms the personality. Lets say we all woke up at the same time for the first time. Each of us would say "I dreamt this or that" not all of us dream the same dream, and so we share what we saw and go our separate ways and each one of us writes a book based on what we know from this dream. Then group B wakes up from their own dreams and finds these books that were left behind by group A. Group B reads these books and either agrees or disagrees with the books from group A and goes and writes their own books. By the time you are in group Z you have all this web of ideas and need to find the commonality in the storyline, and that is the aim of the occult.

My point in telling you all this is that we live in a world of outer and inner ideas and we must decide for ourselves what to keep and what to discard. We also have religions in the world that were formed around the lives of men and the actions of God. Ive decided that there is a combating philosophy of action on some higher plane that we are playing out here. The most common way most of us perceive this is God, Christ, Satan, fallen angels, demons etc. That is the current state of our understanding and so it would seem that there are two strands intertwined in the DNA of our personalities. The point of it all is that we must decide where we stand in regards to virtue, personal will and power, law and action.

One needs to have faith in Christ, be an example of Christ, and share with others the message of Christ.

God incarnated in the Lord Jesus Christ. He did so because people were too busy trying to know everything and have everything and consider themselves one the of chosen that they didnt stop and say "Hey this guy over here is suffering lets help him". Christ is the incarnation of the Lords mercy. The lord wants us to do the one thing that he cannot, and that is- physical activity and care for his creation. He wants us to feed the hungry clothe the naked and visit the sick and all the things that need doing in the physical. If youre preoccupied with having and getting and dont stop to help up your neighbor then you will have access to everything BUT the lords mercy because youre not a disciple of the extension and mission of the Lords mercy. There will be mercy for the merciful. End of story. Certainly works alone are not enough but its a place to begin. He also wants you to learn about him through the good qualities of mercy charity and love. I assume these are the things he delights in as well as being excellent at things.

Im not sure on that one. I recognized that deception plays a big part in original sin but something tells me its not the absolute root, so it could be pride. I see pride as a reaction to a perceived wrong, and not a thing that would originate sin. Might be wrong tho. Greed maybe? Im not sure.

i do agree though, that all sin involves pride - since all sin is rebellion against God, in one way or another, either passively or actively.

well, the easy answers. Study of holy writing, pondering of the meaning, and then prayer to receive a real, genuine answer. You'll know when you get one.
