you know what bothers me? an organization saying they speak for God. an organization saying "no, God doesnt speak to you, only us". an organization saying they know God period.

That's a control tactic imo in religion.
It seems all religions like to claim their organization/institute/book is the answer/way.
Isn't it up to each person to find their way on their own personal journey by keeping an open mind and learning about different religions and yet still have their own individual connection to God/Energy?
A priest telling me that God only speaks to him and not me is like saying "hey I'm gonna bullshit you by saying only god talks to me"
Why do people fall for that type of shit?
Just like my discussions with a muslim who insists his religion is the right one and he insists he can convert anyone into his religion by bringing the bible and he will bring his Koran. But remember...the tree of knowledge was forbidden. Knowledge has power, but in the wrong hands (many hands these days) the knowledge becomes a way to control...religion (several types) is one of those methods.

yeah its crazy how if you dont fit the description of a righteous person that god would have nothing to do with you.
my personal opinion is that god is not known, and we as mortals shall never know what god- and if there are more of them, are doing.

^^ Scientology is so very creepy...I watched the series that Leah Remini made for AMC exposing Scientology, and it was crazy what those people in Scientology do...I also heard John Travolta tried to get out of Scientology and they blackmailed/are blackmailing him...so he is sort of being held captive himself...
Apparently there is some Scientology compound in Hemet Ca. were they hold people captive also...like a prison camp...it is called "The Hole"
