I find that just being myself and speaking up about what I feel makes me feel better toward the band, even if they think i'm a bigot for what my opinions are.
at least that way i'm not bottling it up and fueling more resentment. I can deal with such things better head on, when it's out in the open.
So posting, say, something on Nicole's facebook that disagrees with her makes me actually feel better about things in general.

Sometimes it's best to say nothing at all, pending of course! Sometimes saying things just isn't worth the effort/energy and it isn't necessarily bottling it up but letting it go and not concerning yourself with some things that really do not effect your everyday personal life

did you post something on her facebook Daniel?? i've posted a few things on her public facebook. i've had a brief, pretty much one sided facebook chat with her on one occasion. in which she essentially said "hi" and then i said a thing or two to her. she never responded. she's also the one that banned me from the board. the whole point of our FB chat was to reach some kind of resolution, but seeing as she never responded, my feelings toward her at this time are very ambivalent.

Sometimes saying things just isn't worth the effort/energy and it isn't necessarily bottling it up but letting it go and not concerning yourself with some things that really do not effect your everyday personal life well, i've held my tongue a lot just to try to be on her good side - even though i find many of the things she says to be very...disagreeable and offensive. And I know she feels the same way about my views. Which is fine, ultimately, because I know people can get along besides that. but holding my tongue out of fear of backlash/rejection just builds resentment, so it's better to just politely allow myself to express what I think, in spite of whatever might happen. it is my true desire to be on good terms with her, but i obviously can't control that.

well I don't know much about her, but just because two people have different views on something, to me is not a reason to be banned...

yeah. well, only she can decide how she will react to people she strongly disagrees with. I've already decided how I will treat them.
my impression was that the main motivation for her banning of me was just that she found what I said to be offensive. I was told that she said the site shouldn't tolerate "hate speech", but I wasn't using any hate speech at all.
She has said on her site that she thinks people who disagree with her on certain issues are straight up bigots. Which is actually quite a bigoted thing of her to say.

people need to learn how to get along. I am in no way in agreement with some of your views/beliefs Daniel, but we get along just fine.

I'd only say hi. That should win me a date :eyeroll:
I'm sure he's happy with the art he picks, if he wasn't it'd be something else instead. *shrugs idk*
