So what is the biggest issue for you this election season?
For me - immigration.
Why?
Because the influx of illegal immigrants that get easy citizenship for themselves or their kids, who have little to no desire to assimilate, is hijacking our elections, and therefore our national interests, and that screws up our ability to actually make decisions for ourselves. So I see all things as flowing from that. National security/terrorism is also an important issue, but the immigration and border issue is also part of that.

Idk. Im feeling pretty glum about the future of things. Seems like we need some sort of technological breakthrough like when we had the rise of the internet. We need this for a kick start to global economy. If the economy booms maybe the prosperity would soften these evil hateful hearts we see so much of lately.

People need to sort out their lives for the betterment of them self and contribution to living in this country. Selfishness and disrespect is getting the best of them. So, mental health is important, but that only will revolve around gun owning and not anyone else in debates.

The FBI just raided a bunch of chiropractic clinics here. Most likely for insurance fraud. So, that'd be another issue that needs to be dealt with. I'm sure it's not limited to chiropractic clinics. Hospitals, dentists, therapists, pharmaceutical companies etc....stop raping people's money!

Bill o reiley was trying to help trump appeal to christians before the iowa debate. He was asking about megan kelly and said "if, in your christian faith, couldnt you practice forgiveness and attend?" And trump says "its more of an eye for an eye thing" . This is hillarious because any christian will tell you a direct quote from jesus himself is that the old way of an eye for an eye is bad and to turn the other cheek. Its basically his most famous rule. Im lmao right now

Who has the time to invest into constantly watching and reading this? I'm preoccupied and kind of tired of politics right now. Regardless of who is in office, who ever is pulling the strings beyond the president and Congress, will continue their mission of failing the people somehow. So don't tell me my vote counts because the first term of Obama I voted and he won, 2nd term I stayed out and he won again as I predicted. Elections have fraudulent voting every time. It's a political soap opera and people are entertained. It's Hollywood but politician style.

You can't just offer free stuff on the scale he is without drastically changing our economy and way of life. He knows that, but I'm not sure how much his supporters get it.

Lol maybe they do get it, but they have an illusion of happy go lucky everyone has money and health care view and don't realize how the work of changing it all up would involve or the hell that can come with it.

in other words, a very rosy and idealized version of what socialism is supposed to be.
i'm not one of those people that demonizes socialism or people that believe in it - i only have 2 problems with it. one - no one is entitled to my money and the government bureaucracy taking it away from me or job producers arbitrarily oversteps their bounds, and also, the government pretty much always screws things up with big social programs anyway.
if people want to get together and enter a social contract in which people are legally entitled to each others money, and they wanna see how that goes - fine. but count me out.
and nothing is "free." that money has to come from somewhere, and there is an reciprocal economic consequence to it being taken.
basically, the stuff Bernie is talking about providing would likely crash our economy.

People don't want to work hard to earn their money. Some do, but these younger folks are not putting in work like the older generations. Socialism is like a lazy society in a way. Sometimes this crappie just makes me want to move the heck out of the states lol

Im one that believes health care food and shelter should be available to all. Im not sure it should be free, but the disparity between wage and cost needs addressing. I know a few people that get medicaid, and they think it is license to run to the emergency room- not a reg dr appt (which costs 10% off an er visit) for any old ache and pain. This one guy went to the er five times one month.
