Leaving this one today for my daughter who is FINALLY going to see the Killers for the first time in a few weeks (her and her hubbys favorite band..) They had a total Killers soundtrack at their wedding...walked down the aisle to a Killers song, left the aisle to a Killers song, oh and to Burning Love by Elvis  and This song was their first dance... So excited for them ♥ |

First time ever I listened to a Killer song... I hope they had a great night.
As you were mentioning wedding songs, I actually listened to one of my three weddings songs on repeat today, while I was sanding an antique piece of furniture outside in the summer sun, thinking of my trip through Jordan in 2018, where I sat with my love at Jesus' baptism site, our feet in the cool, muddy and divided water, looking at all the baptisms going on, on the Palastine side of the Jordan, which was basically 10 meters away... the border runs through the river in the form of a floating line... the newly blessed in the water on the westbanks have dipped their bottles over the line into our side of the river to take home holier water from what's considered to be the real / true (Jesus) side... and the pilgrim that I am found it absurd that the heads of the people are blessed and pushed underwater when it is actually the feet that carry you through the holy land to the end of the sorrow... doing literally all the bloody work. So I felt more than blessed enough to just dip in my blistered feet, right there, were Jesus was said to be baptized, on the holier side of the holy side, feeling some sins actually being washed off and away by dear old Jordan <3
