I realize there are a lot of SP fans (and non-SP fans) that don't think incredibly highly about Adore but if it wasn't for Mellon Collie it would probably be my favorite SP album. I've always been electronics-minded even in most of the pure rock music I make, but Adore just struck a real chord with me at 18 years old. I love how unique it is. The album had a particular influence on me when I recorded my debut Neon Apocalypse, now about to be reissued for its 15th anniversary. I want to share with you its lead single, "Weak", which clearly draws a bit of inspiration from "Ava Adore". In fact, I'm fairly certain that was the song I was TRYING to make when I did this one. Sometimes it's hard to remember. It's a little more "techno-minded" than "Ava", I suppose, but please give it a listen and let me know what you think. "Weak" on SoundCloud |

Oh I thought Autumn and Epiphany were beautiful...I will be listening to them much I am sure ♥ I've listened to some other songs and I have really been enjoying them |

Can definitely hear the Ava Adore influence. Yet it sounds more light-hearted where Ava is more darker. |

Hi Ender I had not listened to those two you just posted until now I have however listened to a handful of your other songs...I will say "March of Thieves" struck me right away as having an "Adorish" feel to it I can tell Adore was in inspiration for you ♥ so far I have listened to...(other than the above mentioned) The Ring of Love Valentine I Could've Lost You Like a Dream Alive Another Moment oh and your cover of "Drive" |

Yes, certainly I would say a lot of my stuff has an ADORE inspiration. Lots of U2 and some other bands as well. Adore and U2's POP had a HUGE influence on me... In some ways I feel like I'm always trying to merge the two aesthetics. I like that it doesn't work out the way I envision because I end up liking what I come up with.
I was actually going to suggest Another Moment to you but didn't know if you'd like it.
I appreciate you continuing to explore! I'm intending to have some more covers soon, and back to some new original music as well.

Another Moment, right away I heard an Adore influence in the music...Also Valentine, reminiscent of Airborne Toxic Event... I plan on exploring more when I have the time ♥ |
