So Trump has started to defund stuff. Health care and the arts were the first to get the smack down. Next will be education and help for the homeless and the disabled. The "people" who elected him want every man and woman to be accountable for themselves- breeding an every man for themselves atmosphere. And youre fucked if you have no support from family or if you are in bad health. If you couldnt succeed on your own, then you werent meant to succeed at all. Thank you religious right- you failed.

We can give him, it's a man of action.
Charity isn't a good word because it means the society didn't give itself the means for not having the need of it. A society's mold of the past.
But it's better charity than nothing. So, I imagine, charity will take a greater place.

This whole election and the outcome and probably my age, has given me great pause to reflect on just how great our nation really is. So much of the world is unsafe or in turmoil. So much of it people die to things that we have conquered. We have had so much for such a length of time that we forget how far we are in this world. Trump changing the programs that many have grown dependent upon is a wake up call that we may lose certain things that we have been granted due to our advances. Certainly we cannot sustain the pace we have set, but a total repealing of all programs would be a disaster. I worry that this wealthy man who lives in a home with gold plated walls will fail to see just what the average person has to sustain himself- much less to provide for a "happy" lifestyle. I worry that one who has known so much luxury will be capable of making the right decisions for those who simply get by. I also scratch my head at why people thought he would be the one to do this in the first place.

This is nothing new mskied...the Republicans usually defund, or cut programs...then the Democrats will reinstate/fund them again, then the Republicans reverse the reinstatement...etc, etc...it's like a tennis match...back and forth back and forth...
or a political football game...

Well guess it depends..if it were not to teach religion, but to teach history of Nephilim/Aliens, solar system, and the correlation to the Bible...would make sense

Funny...
I imagine we could say teaching is all the time about beliefs.

But to be fair & equal in respect to all people and their own religious beliefs and how it all connects. Cant just teach that. Buddhism could also be taught. Chi energy, yoga (gym class) Oh wait, thats not very american (sarcasm)

lol I was being facetious...but at the same time serious I did not mean it as in to teach any belief system or ideology (leaving religion out of it)...but to trace back through Ancient Texts etc. how they point to alien beings...there are a lot of signs in our Ancient History through texts, artifacts, ruins that do depict such things...would be more part of our evolution...I personally would find it fascinating...

Lol i wasnt suggesting for any belief system to be taught that it is truth. These topics are available in college courses and freelt available through books. Forcing belief onto anyone is a terrible way to teach. But integrating such isnt bad as long as everyone is aware that it is up to ones own interpretation of how to intake the info presented.
