sorry hope I didn't blow anything for ya as the conjuring is more about a haunted house, insidious is more about soul possession or traveling into a different realm have you...hehee, but you probably already knew that

i'm looking forward to this as well. looks like they did a good job to really build the level of fear/anticipation of this huge monster coming to destroy civilization.

Although....at work the other day, we were discussing how in reality, Godzilla probably wouldn't stand a chance against our airforce. I was watching a tv documentary the other day about some of the weapons they are building for our fighter jets. They have this new type of bullet that is about a foot long and can penetrate through layers and layers of thick steel, easily, and then explode into shrapnel. A few of those to the head and I don't think Godzilla would stand a chance.

Cthulhu, however....I think he would be a formidable foe. He is so filled with an aura of ancient evil that he drives everyone insane within a radius of a few hundred miles. So it's like even approaching him would be a huge challenge. He would definitely pose a real threat to civilization.

Conclusion - They should make a Cthulhu movie.

Rented "Labor Day" from redbox...has Kate Winslet and Josh Brolin in it. It's a drama about an escaped inmate who is convicted of murder, who then takes refuge with this single mom and her son, and the mom and him fall in love for various reasons, etc.....

interesting drama, but a bit sad!

Saw it, a story a bit farfetched. But I found it chivalrous. When she put her head on his shoulder, as if she left all the weight of the world. All she needed. She wasn’t alone. It was sad they were not together but just few days changed for the three, their whole life. It’s a feel good movie imo. A bit in link with my previous post about California shooting. Every human being needs to be "seen".
